Our customer and the project team further developed the original JUMBO with dust extraction for this project. This type of dryer was designed and successfully sold many years ago. The mobile circulation dryer would now be modernised, but transport was to remain as simple as possible. The technology and transport dimensions therefore had to be compatible.
The JUMBO 70 was redesigned in response to the growing importance of dust extraction in mobile systems. A dust extraction unit is a system that removes particles and dust from the air to improve air quality and increase safety. This compact solution for drying grain and other agricultural products thus provides a clean working environment thanks to the efficient dust extraction unit pursuant to the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), which regulates the protection of people, animals and plants from harmful environmental effects. The stela JUMBO drying system is characterised by the installation of all components on a mobile chassis, making increased flexibility and mobility for changing locations possible. The complete pre-assembly at the production plant in Massing helped to ensure that installation on site went quickly and efficiently. As a result, the system could be commissioned quickly and relieve the burden on farmers.
Solution
The system is filled flexibly, either from a silo system from above or through a hopper. This process enables a wide range of applications depending on local conditions. The dried products are discharged efficiently through a screw conveyor, a mechanical conveying device that transports material continuously. It conducts the material into an on-site chute, a structure for collecting and transferring bulk materials, or directly onto a trailer. This flexible system guarantees maximum adaptability to different working environments.
A notable highlight of the JUMBO 70 is that it has a weighing system that enables the precise monitoring of the entire drying process. The weighing system continuously measures the weight of the products to be dried and helps optimise the drying process. The innovative Eco-Mode system regulates the variable fan speed depending on the drying section, leading to a significant increase in dryer efficiency. Such technical innovation emphasises our commitment to advanced solutions and high efficiency in the agricultural sector. In addition, the variable fan speed contributes to energy savings and minimises operating costs.

With its robust design, high energy efficiency and powerful functionality, the JUMBO 70 drying system provides optimum drying with decreased energy consumption.
