On Friday, 20th of March 2026, stela held its Health and Safety Day. Every year, this event focuses on promoting employee health and the well-being of every individual employee. To that end, a varied program is offered during working hours on this day.
This time, the program was supported by TZ Eggenfelden, Radl Hüttner, and BG Prevent.
This year’s two presentations focused, respectively, on physical activity and how to incorporate it into daily life, and the second on which types of exercise are practical for the workday.
The Cardioscan allowed participants to determine their stress index in just a few minutes, and the Bodyscan provided insights into body composition.
For sports classes, the TZ offered Pilates, yoga, and strength training this time.
A new feature of the program was the addition of BG Prevent, which enhanced the event with various tools. These included drunk goggles that simulate the effects of alcohol and a VR fire trainer that allows users to practice extinguishing fires in realistic virtual environments.
Radl Hüttner also set up its information booth again and offered a bike test, so that employees could learn about and get advice on a company bike and test it right there on the spot.
Not to be forgotten is the step challenge, in which the stela staff enthusiastically participated this year. What was initially intended as a trial run turned out to be a resounding success. The top departments were honored, as were the top 10 individuals. The first-place department was rewarded with a bowling night, while second and third place received a breakfast.
The successful day was rounded off with a varied healthy buffet from the Landgasthof Schwinghammer.
