Installation of a BTL belt drying system for drying fermented grain in China

This dryer was supplied to a company that processes waste materials from the production of baiju, a Chinese national drink. This involves drying fermented grain from 40% to less than 11% water content. The aim was to achieve high water evaporation with high efficiency at the same time. This was achieved using an air circulation system. As the dryer was installed in an existing building, it was necessary to route the exhaust air pipe through the roof of the building. The system concept was adapted so that product cooling is integrated into the drying system, as the drying product has to be cooled again after drying.

This means that it can be further processed immediately after the drying process.
