On 5 November 2021, we invited interested students and parents to our career information day at stela's main building in Morolding/Massing, which set out the vocational training on offer at stela.
Our managing directors Thomas Laxhuber and Rainer Hettwer, together with the vocational instructors, welcomed visitors from many regions around Massing and introduced the company and the occupations.
After the opening speech, the students were divided into small groups and given a short tour of the company and the production facilities, learning about the different apprenticeships through games at various stations. They were guided by the instructors who were always available to answer questions, and by apprentices currently employed at stela who were able to give insights into their daily work and share their own experiences.
Parents and other accompanying persons were also able to take a closer look at stela's production halls and had the chance to ask Mr Laxhuber and Mr Hettwer any questions they had about the company and the apprenticeships.
After a small award ceremony and an official closing, the visitors had another opportunity to talk to the managing directors, instructors and apprentices to gain a deeper insight into the apprenticeship occupations and everyday working life at stela.
We are so happy that we were finally able to hold the event again after the break last year, and that so many interested visitors joined us despite the current situation and the restrictions!
Thank you very much to all who attended and helped prepare and organise the career information day!
