Trainees' charity raffle supports German Cancer Aid

As part of the stela Group's end-of-year party in Massing, the trainees organized a charity raffle in aid of German Cancer Aid. The event was very well received and was a complete success, both from a social and financial point of view.

The raffle, which was initiated by the trainees, included a variety of creative and unique prizes. These were provided by the company's department heads and ranged from individual services such as a “coffee service” for a day to a complimentary snack for the entire department. In addition, there were also vouchers from the company's cooperation partners, which were willingly provided.

Stela employees were able to purchase tickets at a price they set themselves, and the winners were drawn directly during the celebration. The raffle was not only an entertaining way to celebrate the end of the year, but also a strong sign of solidarity within the company. Special thanks go to the two trainee representatives, Michaela Brandl and Simon Karl, who developed the idea for the charity raffle and successfully implemented it. The support of trainer Andreas Ehgartner, who actively accompanied the project, was also appreciated. The generous gesture by the management also contributed to the success of the campaign: it doubled the €1,700 raised by the raffle and donated this amount to German Cancer Aid as well. “It is impressive how our trainees have sent a strong message of community and solidarity with this campaign,” said Managing Director Thomas Laxhuber. “The doubling of the amount by the management is an additional highlight that underlines the positive impact of this initiative.”
Thanks to the generosity of the employees and the doubling of the amount by the management, a considerable sum of €3,400 was raised, which will now go to German Cancer Aid.The donation raffle has provided significant support not only for stela itself, but also for German Cancer Aid. It shows how even small, local communities can show great solidarity for important social issues. German Cancer Aid expressed its sincere thanks for the donation and support in the fight against cancer and the promotion of prevention, research, and support for those affected. The donation raffle is an excellent example of active responsibility and commitment within the region.
