2026 Apprentice Trip: Barbecue Class, City Tour, and Dryer Tour

On September 12, 2026, the STELA Group held this year’s apprentice trip. The destination for the apprentices and instructors was Austria, with three stops along the way.

Full of anticipation, the group set out from Massing in the morning and headed toward Wels. First, they toured a customer’s agricultural dryer. At the newly commissioned corn drying plant, the group gained fascinating insights into the practical application of drying technology.
Afterward, the trainees and instructors had the chance to explore the city of Wels, using their free time for sightseeing, eating ice cream, and strolling around. The highlight of the trip came at the final stop: In Marchtrenk, the participants of the trainee outing were treated to a Weber grilling and cooking class. Under the guidance of a grilling expert, the trainees got to roll up their sleeves and prepare the six-course meal together. In addition to the classic steak, they also grilled a delicious fig-and-salmon toast and an apricot casserole. Of course, everyone enjoyed the prepared dishes together—that’s how teamwork tastes twice as good that way!
After the meal, the election of the new trainee representatives was on the agenda. Once the election was over, everyone set off for home together. All in all, it was a thoroughly successful day that provided the trainees and the training team with many new insights and experiences—and, above all, strengthened one thing: their sense of togetherness.

Team-building activities like these are always encouraged by STELA's management, as fostering a close-knit, family-like atmosphere is very important to them.
