stela Laxhuber receives ‘Bavaria's Best 50’ award

Following its recognition as ‘Top Company in Lower Bavaria’ in 2024, stela Laxhuber received its next award: on 29 July 2025, the company was presented with the ‘BAYERNS BEST 50’ award by Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger at Schleißheim Palace.

Every year, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy honours 50 high-growth medium-sized companies from Bavaria with the coveted white ‘Bavarian Growth Lion’ award. The award is given to companies that have achieved above-average growth in terms of employee numbers and turnover over the past five years. BAYERN'S BEST 50 is aimed at fast-growing, owner-managed companies that have demonstrated dynamic growth and profitability even in economically challenging times. Economic stability and sustainability are key selection criteria, and the winners are chosen by the German consulting firm Baker Tilly as an independent judge and implementation partner.
The success of stela Laxhuber over the past five years is the result of a long-term business policy, solid equity capitalisation, a reliable human resources policy with a focus on employee development and retention, and strong roots in tradition and social commitment in the region. Sustainability, a willingness to invest in digitalisation and the consistent implementation of the growth DNA form the foundation of stela's corporate policy.

The management team led by Thomas Laxhuber and Rainer Hettwer thanked dedicated employees, customers, partners and the regional community. They all contributed to stela Laxhuber being selected as one of the 50 fastest-growing companies from a large number of Bavarian companies. The award – and the festive tribute by Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger – is an incentive to continue living the stela values and actively shaping the future.
