Apprenticeship start 2026 at STELA

At the start of the training program on September 1, 2026, the stela Group welcomed nine new trainees in Massing. This brings the total number of trainees employed by the mechanical engineering company stela Laxhuber GmbH and its affiliate STELA Steuerungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG to 28. Due to the high level of vertical integration within the stela companies, they cover a broad spectrum of different occupational fields.

At the start of the first day, the management team, including Thomas Laxhuber, Rainer Hettwer and Tobias Latein, joined the trainers in welcoming the new apprentices. To help them get to know key stops along the way and meet their first colleagues, the “buddies”—apprentices in their second and third years—set off with the “newcomers” on a scavenger hunt through the building. The winners received small prizes before everyone gathered for lunch together and then headed to their workstations. The following new members have joined the stela family as trainees: Leonard Enggruber as a metalworker, Sebastian Steingasser as a metalworker, Martin Wintermeier as a metalworker, Max Zellhuber as a metalworker, Lukas Kollmansberger as a warehouse logistics specialist, Johannes Hackl as an IT specialist and Dominik Grübl as a mechatronics technician, Thomas Denk as a dual-track student in mechanical engineering and precision engineering and Luca Veit as a dual-track student in mechanical engineering and metal fabrication.
With over 270 employees, stela is a major employer in the region and is committed to training the skilled workers of tomorrow.
